These Terms govern use of Class Painter, an online drawing and teacher-led trivia service operated by Creation Creatures LLC. Using the service means following these terms and our Privacy Policy. Please contact support@classpainter.com with questions before purchasing.
Access and accounts
Independent drawing is available without an account or payment. Teacher Mode account features may require a verified email address and an active trial, paid subscription, or approved complimentary access. Students joining an instructor-led class do not need a Class Painter account or payment information. Teacher accounts are intended for educators and other responsible adults; account holders are responsible for protecting access to their accounts and classroom codes.
Classroom responsibilities
Before creating a live classroom, organizers must acknowledge that they are authorized through their school or appropriate parent/guardian permission, and agree to avoid unnecessary student-identifying information. This acknowledgement is not a substitute for legally required notices, school agreements or consent.
Teachers and other session organizers manage their classroom materials, admissions, and in-class display. Class Painter remains responsible for its own applicable privacy obligations and does not transfer those legal duties to teachers. For school use involving children or protected education records, contact us about notices, permissions and any required school agreement before uploading sensitive records. Avoid entering unnecessary personally identifiable or sensitive student data; encourage nicknames when appropriate. Students should participate under teacher or responsible-adult supervision. Do not share class codes or private teacher access/recovery credentials publicly.
Content, artwork, and classroom sessions
You retain rights you have in original content you create. You grant Class Painter a limited right to process and display content as necessary to operate the classroom or drawing feature you choose. Do not submit unlawful, harassing, infringing, or inappropriate content. Within an instructor-led classroom, some submitted artwork, scores, and votes may be shown to the teacher and participants. A class session is not a private vault for information that should never be viewed by those participants.
Temporary data and downloads
Classroom sessions and student work are temporary. Scores are scheduled to expire about 30 days after they are recorded and artwork about 30 days after upload. Other classroom limits may also apply. Account owners should download work before its stated expiration. Saved question banks and reusable teacher activity templates may remain after a subscription expires, subject to the Privacy Policy and account deletion.
Trial and subscriptions
New paid subscriptions are currently offered only to customers located in the United States with a US service address. You must provide accurate location information at checkout. This is a digital service; no physical product is shipped.
Class Painter Teacher Mode offers a 60-day free trial with no credit card required. The trial does not automatically enroll you in a paid subscription or charge you when it ends. Optional Teacher Mode subscriptions cost $25 USD annually. Subscriptions renew each year unless canceled before renewal. The price and terms are displayed in Stripe-hosted checkout.
Cancellation and refunds
Subscriptions can be canceled through the billing portal to stop future renewal; paid access normally continues until the end of the paid period. Refund requests may be made within 14 calendar days of any subscription payment, including renewals. Requests are reviewed individually and are not automatically guaranteed. Details are in the Refund Policy. A full refund may end paid access early; a partial refund does not automatically revoke access.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, modify, or discontinue features, address abuse or security risks, and limit access where necessary. We aim to preserve access to user downloads and account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or that temporary classroom data will be available after its expiration date.
Misuse
Do not attempt unauthorized access to another person's account or classroom, defeat security controls, upload malware, or use Class Painter to violate other people's privacy or intellectual-property rights. We may restrict access when reasonably needed to protect users or operate the service.
Privacy and service providers
Teacher authentication is provided using Clerk, optional Google login is handled through Google and Clerk, hosting and data processing use Cloudflare, and payment services use Stripe. Consult the Privacy Policy for more information. We do not ask you to send card details to us by email.
